DAY 1: WELCOME TO CUSCO / HOMESTAY PERU EXPERIENCE:

Today we will pick you up from the airport to transfer you to your hotel, after a rest and drink some cups of coca te you are ready to start whit the walking tour in the capital of the Inca Empire, is one of the most beautiful cities on Earth! The trip starts at 1 pm when your guide will pick you up and take you for a traditional Peruvian meal at a local favorite restaurant. Then spend the afternoon on a relaxed walking tour around Cusco’s stunning historic center – it’s important to take it easy if you’ve arrived from sea level today, as you need to adjust to Cusco’s (11,200 feet) altitude Cusco, this is a perfect introduction to Homestay Peru Experience.

DAY 2: ENJOY THE HOMESTAY PERU EXPERIENCE:

After breakfast We will start the adventure, driving to the starting point From here we climb gently through the alpine pasture to the first of four mountain passes we’ll cross today, affording incredible views of the Cordillera Urubamba

We’ll pass a beautiful lake before descending, partly on Inca roads, through the rapidly changing ecological layers that characterize the Andean sierra to the isolated traditional community of Andes, where we’ll stay the night in a memorable homestay

DAY 3: HOMESTAY PERU EXPERIENCE – TRAIN TO MACHU PICCHU:

After a delicious Andean breakfast whit the local family we will help whit the activities of the season, we also have the option for a short walk. After a busy morning, the mother of the family will be waiting for us whit a deserved lunch.

Finishing our activities we continue in our private transport to the train station.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU:

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll take the first bus to the Inca city of Machu Picchu, after we present our tickets at Machupicchu checkpoint; we’ll visit the archaeological Inca site of Machu Picchu for around 2 hours, Those who have tickets to Huayna Picchu will have time to climb the mountain, which takes approximately 2 hours, round-trip then you will have some time to explore and enjoy by yourself. After a nice experience in Machu Picchu, we’ll have to return to “Aguas Calientes“, to take our train back to Ollantaytambo, where the transfer waiting for us to continue by bus to Cusco.

DAY 5: SOUTH VALLEY TOUR WHIT HOMESTAY PERU EXPERIENCE

The south valley is just outside Cusco is one of our favorite places to take our guests, because it offers a one-day snapshot of the incredible variety of this whole region. We’ll see lakes, wetlands, and mountains, and visit the eye-watering ornate church of Andahuaylillas and a crazy museum of shrunken skulls!

Along the way, we’ll sample local specialty foods like toqto (pigskin), cuy (guinea pig), or for the less adventurous palate, chicharrónes (pork chunks), and the area’s famous Chuta bread – within Peru, the South Valley is a noted gastronomic destination.

We’ll spend the night in the Homestay Peru village, home to a group of gracious, funny people we’re proud to call our friends. They’ll open their homes and lives to you, giving you a unique insight into traditional Andean life

DAY 6: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN:

After breakfast, we’ll drive wininkunka (rainbow mountain ). Known locally as Vinicunca, this mountain offers a challenging day hike to view an amazing mountainside where a combination of sedimentary layers and erosion has created a colorful spectacle. It’s an amazing m hike, to an altitude of17,060 feet, over a rough trail.. But the incredible views make it an unforgettable experience
In the afternoon back to the hotel in Cusco and enjoy our final dinner together.

DAY 7: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT:
